Ridgewood Facts

Ridgewood is a suburb of the Big Apple, about 20 miles northwest of the big city. Public transportation is excellent from Ridgewood to New York with multiple bus and NJ transit train options from downtown Ridgewood. Leave the car at home so we can detail your automobile while you are in the office.

Ridgewood was incorporated in 1894 and there are many many historical sites to visit if you want to play tourist for the day.

- In 1912 Samuel Greydon donated land to the town where today's Greydon Pool is found. Back in the old days, Samuel used to dam the river and create a larger, deeper place for residents to swim in the summer.
- Ackerman House - stone house built in the early 1800's. There are many other homes built in the 1800s in the town: Van Embergh, Rathbone-Zabiskie, Vanderbeck, Van Dien, Westervelt-Cameron Houses

Ridgewood is adjacent to many towns in Bergen County: Glen Rock, Fair Lawn, Ho-Ho-Kus, Midland Park, Allendale, Paramus, Waldwick, Washington Township. The residential neighborhoods of all those towns are places we have detailed many automobiles, SUV, trucks and commercial vehicles.

The are a bunch of great parks in Ridgewood. If needed we could wash and clean your vehicle in a public location like a park, although we prefer to work on your property. Some parks to check out are:
- Duck Pond - great for biking and running. Nice long path and scenery with no cars! Leave the car washing off the path thank you.
- Veterans field - great place to watch a ball game and pick up a book at the library.
- Citizens Park in the winter for sleighriding. Don't forget to get your SUV detailed before winter to protect the paint finish against the harsh winter weather and evil salt spreaders.
